My husband is a Bears fan, so he's with you. We have a mixed marriage as I'm a Packer fan. (He's also a Cubs fan where I'm a Sox fan.) The Colts offense vs. the Bears defense. This could be quite a game.

Go Bears...Go Bears...Go Bears...Go Bears...Go Bears...Go Bears.........

Oh, and Go White Sox also...

I should point out, however, that if the Bears were NOT going to the Super Bowl, I would be all about cheering for the Colts. I've been a fan of Tony Dungee for many years and would like to see him do well...just not against Da Bears.

My husband is from Chicago so by default I am cheering for the Bears but when I go in the other room, I am secretly cheering for the Colts.shhhhhhhhh

Ok, what's the difference between O.J. Simpson and John Elway?
John Elway IS a slow, white Bronco.
Hmmm. I thought that was funny until I wrote it down...is it tasteless? Is it tasteless but still funny?
I cannot wait for this football stuff to end. I guess you have to grow up with it to like it, and I didn't. STOP THE MADNESS!!!!

Raider football practice was delayed on Wednesday for nearly two hours. One of the players, while on his way to the locker room, happened to look down and notice a suspicious looking, unknown white powdery substance on the practice field.

The Head Coach immediately suspended practice while he FBI were called in to investigate. After a complete field analysis, the FBI determined that the white substance, unknown to the players, was the goal line.

Practice was resumed when the FBI decided that the team would not be likely to encounter the substance again.

Rosanne

It's a self-preservation thing...in our last three trips to Bonaire, by far the majority of Americans we met were from the east coast...much safer to pick on a west-coaster team...then again...picking on the Raiders is like shooting fish in a barrel...they always seen to lead with the chin :-)

Leaving a brave, but foolhardy Raiders fan to take the heat...shame shame...

What's the difference between the Raiders and the French army?

The French army has a running game :-) :-)

Oh oh, I'm probably in intercontinental trouble now.
Just kidding mes amis!

Geez, Cam, we don't even know that many Raiders jokes, and we live here...are you making these up, or is this some national passtime?
I think the Raider Nation is cute, but there is nothing sadder than some big old tatooed guy painted up in black and silver, coming out of the stadium all dejected after a loss!

I have to agree, some fans take it way too serious!

Barbara
I really don't have too many NFl preferences...Green Bay or Seattle maybe...There are so many teams, you can always find one or two to pick on...the NFL is the gift that keeps on giving.

Rosanne, I think you're on to something with the overcompensation thing!
Cam, if I could stand the sport, I'd root for Green Bay for the Cheese Hats alone. I have some clients who are transplanted from Wisconsin who have a row of Cheese Hats in their TV room, ready to put on when Green Bay is playing...gotta love it!
