Boom, thanks! Great pic! :-)

Cecil and Mara, Cool! Mara, I am really in the christmas spirit after that! :-)

Still waiting here for Tiffany to walk through the door from college. Should have landed a little over a half hour ago. She is having some of friends pick her up and bring her home. Just got a humongous batch of Neiman Marcus Choc. Chip cookies done for the holidays to greet her. Tick tock, goes the clock, her favorite dinner is in the oven, tick tock... I am not puter smart with pics as you all know, but I will see if I can get Gregg to take some pics tonight to post here. :-)

Great Idea, Cyn! :-) Hope work is slowing down for you now.

Well, here ya go!! :-)
This is the best cookie ever, OK maybe not as good as mommy'sLook mommy, no boogers!
Riker's first pic with Santa

Mommy, and why do you find this fun?
Quinn, Hayden and RikerCan I jingle your bells?

We had a blast, it was our last chiro visit there:-(, we get together with Hayden once a week. We all met Jen (Hayden's mommy) when Quinn was 6 days old. Hayden and Quinn have the same birthdate:-). Both Riker's and Hayden's faces lit up when the saw each other, it's too cute. Quinn was all excited to meet Santa and when the big moment came, he wasn't too sure:-). Riker had "the face" the whole time. Hayden and other kids loved it. Quinn warmed up in the end and danced with Mrs. Claus. It was an all too short moment.
(Roll over the pics for captions:-).)

I will have to take some pictures today.

Eileen, I miss my kids being small like Riker and Quinn. I love the looks on their faces.

Debbie, hope Tiffany got home from college OK and you had a wonderful dinner together.

Rosanne, can't wait to see pictures from the Christmas show. Hope you get a good deal on a new camera.

Love the picture of Guy. If that doesn't get you in the Christmas mood, nothing will.

Wonderful pictures Eileen, the boys are growing fast.

One nit please, please turn off that stinking time/date it's driving me crazy (a short trip I know). There's no good reason for it, it's keep as part of the pictures properties. I noticed this after you got the new camera.

Thank-you! But, I'll get Joel to show me once and for all this evening. This camera is quite complicated (for me)and yet it was less expensive than the old one. Takes great pics though! It is a Nikon like the other one (all I know is how to turn it on, zoom, take movies and take pictures, oh, and to turn it off, but it can do that on its own too:-)). He esp. likes the dates when he is on site for work and needs to take job site photos. It's always been one of those things that gets being put off, "I'll show you later...".

Thanks for posting your tree Darlene. We had a lot of last minute unexpected expenses this year, so we only did presents for the kids. No cards, no decoration and no tree. :-( I'm hoping next year will be better. The bright side...we did not have to cancel our trip to Bon - so that is our Christmas and I am thankful for it.

We got a nice surprise this Christmas:-) Our piano tuner has been telling us for 3 years that every piano has a life, and that ours has used it's all up...we had been contemplating selling it and buying another one with more life...then when Michael's mom said that his Grandmother's baby grand was up for grabs as they are moving (moved) her into assisted living...well, I was thrilled. Our old one (sold it on Craig's list in 2 days) was built in the 1020s, and we got Grandma's last Friday. She is THRILLED that it is staying in the family, and I'm thrilled we have it. So now I can continue my blues lessons!

This is the old piano

I'll have to take a pic of the new one (and post

Tribs! It has been a "weird feeling" sort of day. Very emotional, with the move so close, the holidays etc. I am one of those people who cry when the clock strikes midnight on New Years... I am looking forward to the change, and in a few years I will look back on all this differently. But anyway, it was nice to have everyone here today:-).

We went over to visit Grandma in her new "digs." She is adjusting unbeilievably well. Same "retirement home" just another building, assisted living. One room, but very nice. She's very happy. When we saw her, all I could do was cry and thank her for the "gift." She was just beaming that someone wanted it, and that it would stay in the family.

Cheryl, you got it! I took lessons from classical, improv, everything. I've wanted to learn the blues for a LONG time:-) I'm learning the song "Night Train" now, it's really really fun.

Beautiful kids all. And trees, and flamingos, and pianos! It appears that Grandpa Tom is quite taken with Master Nicholas!

Here's my 2 granddaughters when I was trying to get some candid pics in their holiday leggings sets.

Tribs, we are soooo stocked with STUFF, we'll be OK LOL! I am looking forward to it! I am looking forward to everything, even the UNKNOWNS!! My parents have helped with a huge bulk of it. Unconditionally they have been there for us. I just hope that one day we will be able to repay them.

I wanted to say how much I have enjoyed looking at everyones photo's! Such cute kids and Cynde I loved the piano saga, it made me smile and get teary eyed at the same time! Kelly, Riley is a little doll but you do you think he'll grow into his ears? (smile)!

I second RosAnne! Great pictures, all of them!!
And, YEAH RosAnne - post those pictures, post away!!!
Cynde, both of those pianos are beautiful. I had to leave my grandmother's upright back in DC when I moved but it went to a good friend who had two children. It moved to a happy place :-)

All of the grandchildren pics are just priceless!!

Good job everyone - keep them coming!

Kelly, priceless!

Sarah, Katie, and little Christopher come out next week after Christmas, for New Years. Her cousin is getting married new years eve. You bet I will be posting LOTS of pics of that baby! lol! I bought her soooo many things this year, and she's only 4 months old...lol! Eileen, I agree with Gail, no re-pays, that's what family is for. Now, we may ask that Sarah or Dylon take care of us when we are 90, that's the repay...lol!

Eileen - a friend of mine gave me a bottle of wine called Mad Housewife Merlot. On the back was a little note about "The kids are napping, the laundry is running, the bills are done - this is the time for me"...or something along those lines. It reminded me of you.

Love the pics everyone!
Rosanne - congrats on your "posting" so now you're hooked! And, the pics of the show are just great.
Gail - your granddaughters are very, very cute :-)
Kelly - love Riley as an Elf! Looks like he loves it too :-)
Cynde - bet you can't wait for New Years - will be looking for lots of pics!
Linda - you've got some great decorations there!
Eileen - I'm sure your parents wouldn't have it any other way. That's what makes you such a good Mom - is having parents who are a part of your life and not asking for anything in return. Their turn will come & you'll be there for them.

I LOVE all the holiday pictures! We have been so busy but, I think it will all calm down from now to Christmas.

My husbands grandma turned 90 yesterday. She is still able to live on her own and has no major medical problems. Now that is a gift!

Mara, that wine sounds like a fun gift to give someone. I have never heard of it.

Here is a quick picture of two of our trees. The cat wont stay off them for some reason this year so I am finding ornaments all over the house.

I have to go run Ashley to cheer practice so I am on the road again. Have a great day everyone!

Cynde, you asked for pictures of the CC's... ??

Did you MEAN
Christmas Cards???

or did you actually mean TT's, as in

Train Tree??

:-) Bill :-)

Harumph... that shot doesn't do the Train Tree justice!! You can't see what is IN the tree....
Tracks go around and it can be operated - except for this year - because I missed one of the electrical connections.

OR under the tree.... Yes, this one runs, very well, and VERY FAST!! Scares the cats!!

All of the tree ornaments are trains, or train related :-)

But I think Cynde actually wanted a picture of THESE CC's

Bill's Christmas Creations!!

:-) Bill :-)

These are great photos everyone. Lisa - I see your kitty cat under the tree...and I have 3 as well that are all about the Christmas tree. The one in the living room has soft and non-breakable ornaments on it and the one in the bedroom is the one with the glass ornaments.

Bill, you must have been posting last night when I was too! LOL! Whew, I'll breathe easier knowing you have a train in AND under your tree. Love the captions! Those are a LOT of cookies!

Mara, had to go back up and look for the kitty:-)

Linda, do you have snow NOW? I have some Aspen leaf jewelery from years ago:-) Hope you didn't get hit too hard with that storm.

We aren't even attempting a tree inside the house this year, thanks to the kitties. We have a small tree outside that we've managed to keep alive from last year. For the inside, I hung garland and put the ornaments up high ~ just to drive the cats crazier than they already are :-)

notice the "It's a Wonderful Life" video.... ahhhh!

Last night Guy & I did our Annual Stocking Stuffer Shopping and then had dinner with friends at the local watering hole ~ every year they have a really wonderful Xmas tree

it hangs from the ceiling!! Ha!!

Yes, we did get a bit of snow from the Denver Blizzard. We're 150 miles west of Denver on the west side of the Continental Divide so our weather is different.

Al puts them up in late October and I refuse to flip the switch until November 1st ! HA! He takes them down in March before our annual Bonaire trip. We call them our WINTER lights (not Christmas lights). Holiday lights can only be lit for 6 weeks according to the City. :-)
We have some bright colored LED lights on the trees by the street and the main string lights along the porch/veranda are also LED. We'll see if it saves on the electric bill !!!
