I just got a call from my credit card Co. They asked if I had ordered a TV and was it to be sent to So. Africa. Cost was $9,000.00.

My account was closed. A new card will be delivered this afternoon.

Just a heads-up.

Probably a random guess at your number, if you have a PayPal account I would put a very strong password on it 10 character plus and use numbers and symbols. PayPal has been a temptation for hackers.

It's sad really, we get "orders" from Nigeria, Singapore, Indonesia, Lagos all the time - I never even bother to answer them because they're all fraudulent. It makes me worry about those who might really need something though... we had a large order from the Dominican Republic, for some reason (I don't know why) I spoke to the people and eventually we filled the order - after a lot of research. I'm glad we did because it was a group starting up a much-needed Air Rescue company for the area.

Thank you boom for working with the people in the DR. I watched a group of locals try to do a sea rescue there of some tourists who got caught in the waves on the rocks. It was not pretty. No one was trained, just trying to help them since the hotel had put up the red flag and refused to assist. They then had a very long and bumpy (painful) ride to the hospital.

Jerry...I'm so sorry this happened to you. Which ever card company you have, I would stick with them. They did their job and caught the purchase. Good for them!
