It's becoming cooler now, the trees are turning into there fall colors, how depressing! Short days, jackets, raking, snow, ice, cold-cold-cold.
Only thing keeping me from going over the deep end, Bonaire is close.

Well, time to open the store. Should start to slow down now, with fall in the air. But, gives me more time to play.

I'll be around until 4:00.
Have fun everyone!

Cleaning and paying bills on the agenda here, and then I'll hopefully get some time to play!

Jerry, no signs of fall here except a slight drop in temps and shorter days. Fall in AL used to depress me as well, when all my flowers died. In the Lowe's and Home Depot garden shops here, people are buying peppers and tomatoes to plant! I think we get another growing season beginning now. (I'm still new, so I'll tell ya after a full year. :-))

Christine is coming over and we're going to do girl stuff and go shopping. Larry's been fishing all morning and just did the yard, so I guess he can have a lazy day now. :-)

Julia, post like hell, then stop at 999, go to Bonaire, hit C&B, get a bottle of sparkling wine and just post away. How cool is that?

This was the slowest day I have ever seen on BT, even the "Web-Cam-People" are a no-show!
The boys are in the process of closing the store, time to say our good-by's.
Have a nice Sunday everyone. Play nice.

Check Please.

PS. QGH, happy you are feeling better.

If I can get my act together there is nowhere else I would rather do my thousandth post than C&B, Jerry. I am trying to ration myself to a few posts a day or calculate the number of days left by the number of posts left.

Cynde, he has a set of chompers ! lol! That look in those pictures is the one he does when I tell him to smile. And did you see his fat little fingers in the last picture? I swear I could just eat him up.

Wait til you see the Halloween costume... omg... it's Curious George and it's the funniest thing I've ever seen. Steve and I laughed so hard when we saw it we thought we were going to get asked to leave the store...

PS. Adoption hearing should be sometime in Nov. !!!!

he says, "ohhhhh" and "ewwwww" a lot, which cracks us up. He will say a few words, momma, dadda, Bob, and he can say poop too. lol. He says a lot of babble, but says the same things repeatedly so I know whatever he's saying, he means business. Today Steve gave him a bite of a cookie and he said "mmmmmm".

Oh my gosh - what a character! You look thinner in your pics with Stephanie - could chasing after Riley have anything to do with it!?

My little granddaughter Alex is 13 1/2 months and has 3 teeth - yes, only 3! It amazes me to see Riley's big toothy smiles!

Kelly, I LOVE that chatter stuff! Anthony is 14 months, and just blah blah blah's...I keep telling Ashley I'd love to know what he's saying...she just rolls her eyes because I think she's tired of hearing it and Michael and I just go goo goo over him...lol! It is sooo cute when they do that. He'll be in the back seat just chattering away playing with some thing...chewing on the boat keys or something and I will just be smiling from ear to ear making a big fuss, Michael is just making a big fuss, Ashley is thinking we are from another planet (but loving the fact that we love both of them so much) and Dylon is looking at us like, hey, what about me? lol! We are like, you are 18 in 3 weeks, get a JOB! LOL!

Although, I would NOT want a full time baby at my age...I still admire both of you for taking on this challenge...

We are loving the "grandparent" thing though:-)

Gail, yes chasing after Riley has a bit to do with it.. lol.. but we are on an "office diet" for 30 weeks and it's keeping me focused! :-)
Only lost a few lbs. so far, I keep telling those who are losing fast that I'm a distance runner not a sprinter.. lol.. everyone knows the turtle wins the race !!

Cynde, I LOVE that chattering... we have no idea what he is saying but he does say the same things over and over and I know he knows what he's saying! It's hysterical.

Kelly, he is such a cutie!! I can't wait to see him all dressed up for Halloween. I think we are going to Brenda's so you will have to stop by with him. Riley will keep you and Steve young and in shape! I just know everything will go your way in November!

I'm like Jerry. Fall is making me sad. I used to love it when it meant going back to school to see friends, new clothes, football games and BOYS! Now it just means dying greenery, shorter days, heavier clothes, etc. Ugh.

Riley is truly darling. They are so fun when the start to talk! Keep sharing pictures and stories.
