got wrote-up (wrist slapped) for not submitting useless status reports, can't get my replaced ATM card activated without making a personal appearance at the bank, out of beer and can not buy any (no ATM card) (guess i could write a check), got nothing to smoke, exercise is not enough and mom is in the ICU (not that critical) but wants a drink of water but can't because she is on a breathing thing...

My day wasn't bad, just busy. I'm hoping to finish my work in time to watch CSI.

Bob- it helps me to hear that someone out there is also in trouble for not submitting useless reports. I am a manager but never have time to do what I am supposed to - patient care comes first (I am also a nurse)- but can't do both things- its day # 12 in a row and that includes two twelve hour days over the weekend to fill in for someone else (usually we just do 9-10 hour days.) That is why I am finally saying enough and going back to the floor. You know that you have had enough stress when working nights and weekends sounds good. I hope that your Mom is doing OK- you need to do what you think is right- and if that is being with your Mom then do it. I never hear any one say "whew- I sure am glad that I got those reports in instead of going diving!!"
