I'm not talking about starching hair, panty liners, or Prep-H today. I had nightmares all night because of that topic. It was very upsetting. QG was starching panty liners. BH was taking Cialis in place of Tums. He was having a very hard day. I have to stop, it's just to upsetting for me.

Don't fret, Dude. I could have been the wine and food soiree.
And, Dude, starched pantyliners are only for formal wear, over the top for the every day...

I just read this in the paper and thought it was interesting. What are people thinking????

Son Gets Marijuana for Doing Homework

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (AP) -- A woman admitted to smoking marijuana daily with her 13-year-old son to reward him for completing his homework. Amanda Lynn Livelsberger, 30, pleaded guilty to several charges Monday and will be sentenced Nov. 27.

Livelsberger, of Conewago Township, admitted in Adams County court that she had been smoking marijuana with her son since he was 11, and that she often gave it to him as a reward.

The boy told police that he was required to do his homework as soon as he got home from school, and then was allowed to smoke marijuana with his mother, according to court documents.

OK, new game (that can include things we don't talk about).

Online Ballderdash.

Now, you have to "imagine" that we are all sitting in the same room and playing the game. NO CHEATING. Cheating would be looking up the answer, via online, dictionary, whatever. You read the question, and then choose the best answer. Again, no cheating!!!!

So, I am going to type a word, and then give 3 possible definitions. Choose which definition you think fits with the word...NO CHEATING by looking up the word.

quay

1. denoting the standard keyboard on English-language typewriters, word processors, etc.

2. fume obtained from a strongly scented E. Indian plant.

3. solid, stationary, artificial landing place for loading and unloading ships.

Well...um...what do you say to that? She was 17 when she had him...has she matured much? Or, way to go! She found a way to get him to study? Or,...I was taught not to say anything if I cannot say something that is good.

Oops! This was not directed at GH's post.

You mean smoking pot with your teenager and offering it as a bribe to complete his homework is NOT a good idea?!?!?!?!?! Darn - I guess I'll have to look for a different option then.

GH, did you happen to see Keith Olbermann's commentary last night? I think you and I have very similar political views and if I'm right you must read his speech. He's angry, straightforward and right on! Off topic but I wanted to mention this to you.
