HAPPY HAPPY NEWS. Caymus might not need the treatments? The 1st path report came in with clean margins, the mass was 100% removed. A 2nd test is in the works to pin-point the true type of tumor. That will give the vet a path to go. And the wound is 99% healed.

That has got to be the best news for you Jerry! I am so happy for you all. Now Caymus can stop wondering why you are so stressed out. Big doggy and people hugs from us and Rose.
|
By Barbara Gibson (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #150) on Friday, September 8, 2006 - 2:54 pm: |
Kris, people who allow their dogs to be vicious are kind of double criminals, I think. They hurt your little Rose, and they cause their own dogs to be confined or destroyed. What is wrong with people?

By Jerry Gauron (Extraordinary BonaireTalker - Post #1535) on Friday, September 8, 2006 - 2:58 pm: |
Kris, they mend so quick. Best of luck in court.

Jerry, Dude, are you reconsidering the West Coast Thingie?
|
By Cecil (Supreme BonaireTalker - Post #5017) on Friday, September 8, 2006 - 3:20 pm: |
Great news on Caymus and good news Kris also. If the animal control people do their thing the court should settle your bills as part of the criminal settlement (you would hope).

Yay Jerry, I'm so glad to hear that! Caymus has so many people pulling for him here, that it couldn't help but end up well!
|
By Barbara Gibson (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #153) on Saturday, September 9, 2006 - 12:07 am: |
Jerry, does Caymus usually get the chicken or the beef? Or does he have a special menu request?
|
By Becky (PADI spy) Hauser (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #788) on Saturday, September 9, 2006 - 12:13 am: |
Jerry, don't service dogs get to ride free like seeing eye dogs??

By Grasshopper (BonaireTalk Deity - Post #19409) on Saturday, September 9, 2006 - 1:10 pm: |
Hmmm...should we start a fundraiser to get Caymus a seat to the SB meet? It just won't be the same without the wine expert and his enterogue (i know really bad spelling but I haven't had any coffee yet and am lazy...so there...lol)
|
By Jerry Gauron (Extraordinary BonaireTalker - Post #1543) on Saturday, September 9, 2006 - 1:59 pm: |
The vet just faxed me the est on the cancer treatments, if Caymus had to have it done.
|
By Barbara Gibson (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #154) on Saturday, September 9, 2006 - 2:15 pm: |
Grasshopper, I think a fundraiser is in order...

By Cheryl B (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #239) on Monday, September 11, 2006 - 9:20 pm: |
Jerry, are you sure about AA charging for service animals? Check out this link:
|
By Jerry Gauron (Extraordinary BonaireTalker - Post #1565) on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 - 10:27 am: |
Thanks Cheryl, that's how it should be. But because of the size of Caymus, he can not squeeze into a small space, lack of foot room. So a seat is needed. Fact is, have you ever seen a small service dog that could fit anyplace but a seat? The seats that do have room are emergency exits, can't sit there!
|
By Becky (PADI spy) Hauser (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #802) on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 - 2:00 pm: |
What about bulkhead?? There's more leg room and no seat in front of you? I just can't believe a service dog would have to purchase a ticket, that makes me mad!
|
By Jerry Gauron (Extraordinary BonaireTalker - Post #1572) on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 - 2:09 pm: |
Not all the time, some planes are set up with seats jammed in, others have spaces here and there?
