With all the rain, how are the bugs?
Should I bring down a case of Bens?
Is Auton (spelling) still sold on Bonaire?

I'm itchy just thinking about it!

The rainy season will do that!

I got eaten alive in Roatan this January, though bugs NEVER bite me. The noseeums were just thick in the air, BUT deep woods off kept them...off. Then there were the sea lice. lol

I much prefer summer! Never saw anything in July in Bonaire.

Cactus Juice is definitely the way to go. We will never come back without it. The last time I checked on their website, they even had a little gift basket so you could try all the products.

Cheryl,
There are two websites for Cactus Juice:

www.cactusjuice.co.uk

and

www.cactusjuice.com

I used the U.S. website much earlier this year to find a store near me in Minnesota, but that portion of the website doesn't seem to be working today. You can buy directly from these sites, though.

Amy

I still swear by Avon's Skin so Soft. You can get the sunscreen lotion with it, towelettes, spray, pump, the whole lot. Last 2 trips, I only got 1 bite total. And the living area of one of the places we stayed had no doors and was on the water!

Thanks Amy, I'll look into it as I've never heard of it before.

Cynde, that's what we have used. I like it because it's great for dry skin and when I put it on before going out to dinner, I don't smell like I'm going into the jungle!!LOL

Cheryl, I am a total convert to the Cactus Juice after using it last time. It also has a much better smell than traditional bug spray. And it also has sunscreen. I think you'll love it.

Back in October, they had a special that you could get a sort of gift pack with all the different products to try. We are going to get that the next time.
