Hello BTers... just wanted to share what I got to do yesterday. Steve and I had dinner with BTer Judy Workman and her husband, Ron. They are fabulous !! We had a ball, she recognized me right away when we walked in. Of course I did have my 6'5" husband with me, he sorta stands out. lol.

So we had a GREAT dinner, great chattering too. They have been going to Bonaire for 25 years and have some AMAZING photographs of Bonaire back then. To say I was mesmerized is an understatement. I was so excited to meet them and talk their heads off that I forgot to take pictures. I remembered the camera on our way home... wahhhh.

After our dinner, we went to the back meeting room of the restaurant, which is where my dive club meetings are held. Judy and Ron are founding members of my dive club, and people were very excited to see them and ask questions about the club's inception.

But it was such fun and we're already making plans for another dinner!

Yayyy! Another BT success story!!

Hi all!
I've been a lurker for years and Kelly sought me out after I posted a question. We did have a great time at dinner and the meeting. We all found things we had in common and are looking forward to many more "mini-meets" to come. They're a really fun couple. We have, however, only been going to Bonaire for 20 years. We're really looking forward to 2 more weeks in May 2006. That's what gets us through the Ohio winters!
I thought it was funny the club president had to ask us when the dive club started! We must not have taken notes back then. A nice bunch of people apparently very active as a club still. They too love Bonaire.

Yes, I forgot to add that! They had to ask when the club was started.. lol.. that got a good laugh!

Oct. 19th is the next meeting Judy by the way.

How fun Kelly! I went to the local dive club meeting last night..first one for me and they had a great presentation on a resort island in the Philippines...wanna save up some money for a looooong trip?

No diving last weekend Cynners....they cancelled the AOW class..I was the only one to sign up...guess it's more practice in the neighbors pool for me!

Kinda Almost Diving Underwater Instructors

The cert type is totally up to the "Head KADUI", Tom "Bubba" Cousino. He is not a well man and should really seek help. Psychotherapy comes to mind. You may have already earned a cert and not yet know it.

Oh, yeah Kel... you will be "certifiable" along with Cynde and me after this trip...
