Bon Dia all. Hope everyone is well or at least getting better. I managed to get out yesterday and dive, do you believe we actually had a weekend without a Nor Easter (big storm like the last three weekends). I went down to the Nubble and played dive slut, thats where you show up ready to dive and stand around the parking lot looking wanton. Sure enough within 10 minutes some friends showed up to dive.

The dive was a 40 minute, 42 degree water, 40' max and 10' visibility dive. We went around the island where the lighthouse sits, along a wall and back. I got wicked cold by the end but that was not my biggest problem. I had a new mask that I just got and that sucker leaked like crazy (it goes back tomorrow). It was a good dive otherwise and we saw lots of neat stuff. Here's some pictures.

This is a funny shot, Jim pointed at a rock and I took a picture. I had no idea what he was pointing at, in fact I looked at this picture two times and still did not see it.

Nice pics Cecil, I am trying to find a local dive trip for next weekend...maybe the dry suit portion of the AOW will be it...can't get an answer from my local dive shop if anyone is going anywhere yet....

Looks like you had a nice weekend. The clouds are back in NJ today. Had one good day on Saturday without the Nor'Easter....it has been sooooo strange, hasn't it!

I can just imagine what the hurricane season might bring us in the Northeast...more Nor'Easters, no doubt but without the big punch. Just rain, wind and erosion.

I hope the Caribbean is OK this season with Bonaire in mind, of course.

Cecil, thanks for the heads up on the nudibranch in the middle of the photo. (And the nose on my face is????)
I wonder if you would have been under the water for a longer period of time if your new mask hadn't given you so much trouble. Cold water on your face because of leaking mask can really get on your nerves. I find that when things go awry, I notice the temperature more...or perhaps I just want to get out of the water.
