My business partners (you don't say bosses at my company!) got me a $100.00 Lowe's gift card (Lowe's is a home improvement store) for the new house. They thought I'd like that better than flowers.

And boy! Were they right!

Sally, that's what I call a nice gift!

My last boss handed me his credit card on Secretaries Day and said "Get online and buy yourself something nice". He gave me a $50 limit. It wasn't the most personal gift I had ever had but I guess it's the thought that counts. My husband gave his secretary a gift certificate to a garden center because she loves working with her plants. That will last longer than live flowers would have.
