I lived on Curacao at the end of the seventies. One of my children was born there.
Sometimes I get tempted to go Curacao on holiday instead of Bonaire.
It’s diversity is very attractive.

So far I sticked to Bonaire because is much more laid back and safer.
Despite the horrible accidents that sometimes happen here too.

When I read today this article:

“Last year 50 people died on Curacao because of crime.
There where more than 1.000 holdups.”

I concluded that Curacao will not be an alternative to Bonaire.

I don't think Curacao and Bonaire get along politically.
