Just read the Bonaire Reporter and the person's who had their smiling face with a snowman was none other than Darlene Ellis Great Picture and Super idea!!
We live in NH and certainly can identify .

however on a less happy note I am appalled at the fact they are really tearing down the Hausemann's Folly where Chez Lucille was until the past year . Somehow it seems to be so wrong and a very sad day for Bonaire I am horrified.

Beverly, Thanks for posting that my picture made it to the Bonaire Reporter. I never thought it would be this soon or at all for that matter!

I sure do agree with you about Hausemann's Folly! What a shame. I had many a beautiful, relaxing dinners there with friends when it was Chez Lucille's place.

Darlene, for those of us that don't get the paper copy, why don't you post the picture you sent, that got in the paper...:-)

FYI: I get the Bonaire Reporter on line. It's great! Not sure if there is everything that is in the paper copy, but it does have Darlene's picture in it too. I found it easier, due to all time spent on the computer.
Cynde, that was not to take anything away from having pic posted, great idea for all to see, just thought I would let people know how I get the Reporter.

PS Tom...my cousin from Maine saw the Beauregard pic and her heart stopped for a moment...she really thought I had taken a pic of her brother, Fergi, that she had not yet seen. (he passed away last Feb). I had to explain to her it was not the Ferg Man, but actually a Bonaire fella we "know". You really shook her up! cb

I too am sorry to hear about Chez Lucille's place, when we were there in 2003 that was our favourite restaurant. What will take its place? Sounds like there are many changes since 2003.
