Good morning all,

Our day is starting out great! Hardly a cloud in the sky and temp is only expected to be in the mid 70's.

Hope you all have a happy and safe weekend.

Thanks, Tom :-) Please could you send some of your lovely weather over to me in north west England. We have dull grey cloudy weather, bit windy [no rain thank you!] tho' is not so cold.

Going out to mow the lawns soon [don't want to, stamp stamp]

Hi all - well my first trip to Bonaire is finally in sight - only 6 more days. I just want to thank everyone on this site for all the information. One question - is a repellant with 40% deet enough to keep the biters away???? Thanks Katie

Jenni, One of your fellow countrymen who worked as a DM for me last year e-mailed us this past week. He said that shortly after he returned home to England he remembered two things:

1. The weather was nicer here.
2. The beer was better there.

Katie, I hope you have a wonderful time.

Good saturday for everyone!
Katie... I'm starting to countdown: 42 days before leaving to Bonaire.
I think 40% deet should be sufficient (but actually I can not remember if there are lots of mosquito's on the island.....)

Tomorrow Ruud and I will meet Martin and this time Angela as well, for a dive and after that a BBQ with some more (Rob, who was with the first attempt to dive and seen Martin's gadget....) people. Hope that the weather is like today, sunny and a good temp

Diana, say hello to Martin and Angela for me and you all have a fun and safe dive. Tell Martin to leave his gadget in his pocket. lol

Hi Katie, as a mossie sufferer I can confirm that 40% Deet will keep the little b****'s at bay but I got bitten worst at the airport so now I keep a stick of repelant in my purse and use it before I get off the plane!

Kelly, I will take another gadget with me... That one is even better... LOL

Diana, they promised us rain, so it will be a good day, since they are wrong in most times...

LOL Tom

So are we getting a pic of this gadget, Martin, as well as the other???? :-) Enjoy the mini-meet and the dive

I also keep mozzie stuff with me at all times. I carry the sachets in every bag and pocket, and agree with you Julia to protect at the airport.
