Cynde,

I was happy to hear that your mom is doing a little better. I am sure there will be ups and down but hopefully the ups will begin to be more common from here on out.

A couple of weeks ago I posted a pic of dove that decided to use one of the flower pots on my porch for a nest. Her eggs hatched and here is a pic of the two chicks. One is looking at you and one is hiding behind mom.

c

Last Monday was the first time I saw the chciks without mom in the nest. She had gone for food. They were bigger but still fluffy with down. I was headed to the airport but figured I would get some good pics when I ruturned on Wednesday. When I got home two days later the nest was empty. They grow up so fast.

This weekend, I decided I better get some flowers in the pots before another bird claimed it for a nest. I planted impatients:

There are also some hybiscus plants blooming now:

Hoping for good news and sending prayers to you and your family,
Dr. Doo

Mike, nice pictures:-) Just got back from the hospital and mom was asleep again. We talked to her, rubbed her head, held her hand, but she didn't wake up. I did ask the nurse if she was awake at all at any time, she said yes. I think I will go hang out at the hospital tomorrow morning and see if I can catch the doctor...

Freddie, more pics on the way. I had to download a free version of winzip:-)

Cynde,

Great pic of Velma; it looks like she was enjoying herself. Can't wait to see a pic of your new hair! Movies and tunes always help me chill! The Nora Jones, if its her new one, has some great songs on it. I liked it much better than her last one. If you get a chance you might want to pic up "Lost in Translation"; about two Americas stuck in Tokyo in culture shock and feeling completely lost, and finding comfort in the friendship they forge. Some people have hated it, I loved it, but I'm a film junkie.

Hope you two are heading home soon!!!

You're never lost with all of us watching your back!!!!

Big Ed
