I was living in Playa del Carmen and Hawaii. I have never been to Bonaire but it certainly intreges me. I love this site to read about all the wonderful experiences everyone has. I currently live in the mountains of Colorado but am looking to live part of the time in Bonaire.

Welcome to most BTer's dream. I live in So Cal near the ocean, but would love to live on Bonaire also.

Jake just recently started a new thread topic about "Moving to Bonaire" since so many people were asking about the what's and how's of moving there. Making a living on Bonaire is not easy for US citizens because people from the Ned. Antilles have first call on jobs, with people from other parts of the Ned. Commonwealth having second call. If you are retired that is another matter.
