Eileen, Julia Graves was the one that started the whole thing with her gift, so in essence, she is the brain child! Then we decided to all get together and give you a "virtual baby shower." I'm off to be in the Festival of Whales Parade (no, I'm not Shamu) with the USCGA, can't wait to see the pictures later and hear all about it!

I misread the invite time. I thought 11am and automatically added the 1 hour to match the east coast. Force of habit I guess. Just missed the "Bonaire time" completely.

I am still very overwhelmed! Superturtle and Mrs. Turtle left a few moments ago, this has been an amazing event! I am now going to download some pics and post them! (I have an hour before I go to a surprise bday party for my sister-in-law).

Joel and I can not say Thank-you enough!

I am glad to have come across this website 2 years ago and have met so many amazing people, I have met 1 BTer now and hope to meet many more!

It was our great pleasure to be the deliverers of "the Plant"

Eileen had an idea something was up, when we just blocked their driveway with my truck, and sauntered up to the door with this big box covered (well, almost) with a green garbage bag!!

I hope you don't mind that I got a little creative with the box - having trained graphics staff comes in handy sometimes!!

Wow, I have tears of joy running down my face! Mr. and Mrs. Superturtle, thank you so much for being the delivery stork! I love the signs on the box! It was truly a magical time - Eileen was laughing crying and shaking from the moment the door opened. And Joel was ready instantly with the camera as you have seen from our arrival shots with the Box.

We, like you will have to wait a little longer to see the remainder of the pictures Joel took.

But I can wait..... Heck I kept waiting for leaves to appear!!

Eileen and Joel, we hope the day was as great a treat for you as it was for us!! It was truly a pleasure meeting you both!!

The final shower group photo is now complete! This was everyone who showed up on the board for the shower...I know many others sent gifts but I don't have that list...so add your pic if you'd like!

You can see that Jos showed up late and all wet from a recent dive! And AKDan faded early! Annie would like to play with one of the toys! Kris could only peek in because of a computer crash...And Julia turned to see who else was coming just as the photo was snapped!

I look like I had just got off a plane after a long day of travel.

Barbara, great job on the photo! I love it! Angela, this secret baby shower was started about 4 months ago...LOTS of planning and waiting! In general, when we have a "secret mission" you will see something to the effect of a thread entitled "The plant is on the table" over in Everything Else....glad to see you make it over to CC where we really are nuts!

Eileen & Joel, I would like to send my congratulations to you both! I am so happy for you. I just wish I could be a BT regular again...not enough time in a day. I have been gone so long that I didn't even know you were expecting. Wow, I have missed so much not being on BT. Just reading this thread, I had tears of joy, too, and wish I would have been around to participate in this virtual baby shower. Forgive me for not keeping up with everything, but when is the baby due?

BTers: You all did such a GREAT job! This is truly an awesome "family"! I miss you all so much!
