It'll be because of the arrival of our luggage.

Never got to start a thread before in CC but here's my first. Sitting in hotel at Miami airport waiting for 10 am flight. Hadda do one last retentive check of BT before I go. Been there done that......I SHALL be drinking brights in honor of all of you before the day is out.

Ed..........when you get down to seconds before you leave, you've reached terminal velocity....time to go to a terminal and get on down there.

Be thinking of you cold people

GOOD MORNING BONAIRE!!!

Velveetanor, hold that plane for me please!!!

It is -14f outside with wind chills of -40f, HELP!!

School opening here is delayed two hours. I guess the diesel buses do not want to go outside either. Smart buses!

32 days and a wake up. If it keeps being this cold, we will have to wear long johns under our long johns.

Sign me,
Icedman

How cold is it?

Both of our cats were snuggled next to me in bed when I woke up. Odd when you consider the older cat despises the younger.

It only took my dog Boris 2 minutes to do his business this morning. No checking the property lines to see if other dogs had "dirtied" his territory.

Weather lady just said that exposed skin can freeze in under ten minutes. Guess I will wear clothes outside today.

It is so cold animated gifs do not move.

Joe,

Your message this morning is true torture. It's so cold here in NH that I can't even get the dogs to go out. Thank God they're tiny. This time next week we'll be approaching MB Jam. It is amazing how BT becomes such a habit prior to departure. I hope Joe is planning a stop at Street Cam so I know who I'm looking for next week!

Hope all have a great day, I'll check in tonight when home from work. Stay WARM!!!

Big Ed

head bang It's another quiet day in Chat today. I haven't had much opportunity to sit and goof around online the past few days. The roofers are working beside and above me (right over my head!) pounding and pounding - it's a large area and they've been on it since last week. The boss-guy even worked Sunday for a while to take advantage of the warmer temps - in the lo 30s.

hammer

Here's a shot BB took at noon while the roofers guys and grrrl were at lunch. The arrow is where my PC is - right in the corner of that room.

roof

drum I finally beat them at their own game - I just put three new age Native Drums CDs on and it makes the hammering more tolerable. LOL

Rusty, omg, you aren't kidding about how the noise must be! They also must be FREEZING out there trying to get that roof on!

Sarah, nice shots of the fireworks! Weren't they awesome? I was absolutely floored by the sheer quantity (and quality!) of the fireworks on New Years Eve at midnight. They exceeded the most excellent fireworks I had ever seen before, by far!

Off to go try to find a warm spot...

Faith

I made it Bill, thank-you for asking! I drive sloooow in such weather. It scares me when transport drive up quickly next to you or when people tailgate you in such weather. Is it really important rush your to get home 5 secs sooner?

Beautiful pics Sarah!!
