seasons I like the changing seasons, but only when Winter is changing to Spring, and Spring to Summer. The rest of the cycle brings cold, dark, wintry days. I do like long winter nights, though, for snuggling under a pile of quilts with a book. Annie, did you cover me up last winter?

wrapped

cold This cold I have is really jumbling my brain and senses. My eyes are still googly and my brain has gone incommunicado as far as my body is concerned. The light is on and nobody's home. LOL I'm sure it's the combo of cold Rx and my immunities waging war against the cold but I'll be glad when I'm back in the driver's seat. So far, the cold is dominating my operating system.

This diver brought us some bananas or moray eels or something:

rusty
Hope your cold is loosing the battle soon.
sniff

Read some threads to catch up and saw that you have it already a couple of days!

I don't like the fall and winter very much! I'm a spring-summer kind of girl. I liked the San Diego climate a lot!
Over here the weather is still summer-like, but they say it will change, starting tomorrow. Then I have to go to work as well. PFFF, that will be hard.

circle Diana, the story of your time in SoCal is charming. I read it to Bob just now (he heard Cynde's side a couple weeks ago) and agreed the it's a wonderful world when you can meet friends around the world and share some good times - thanks to Jake and Linda, and the huggable world wide web.

cold My cold is terribbibbibble. The hardest part is trying to concentrate to read or write. The symptoms are under control when I take the cold cpsules but the rest of me feels *three sheets to the wind*.

diaper Cecil - here's hoping for a dry shoot today. Maybe you should tuck a Depends into the housing to absorb embarrassing wetness?

Rusty, I hope your off caffeine for the interval of affliction.
I like the quilty girl shot Rusty.
I DO NOT care for Mr. 9:40 fins there...
Now I'm thinking of an audio component add on to BT so you can yell at the divers. Maybe a menu.

"Please stay off the seafloor. There are small corals there."
"Please maintain buoyancy or ascend slightly."
"Your sign is too small"
"Is that German or Dutch?"
"Please cleans the lens."
"My what an attractive smile"
"Please face the camera"
"Does your hair look that good topside?"
"Your camera appears to have flooded"
"I like the wetsuit partly open"
"Don't look behind you. Or move at all. And for gosh sakes keep quiet, they respond to sounds."

Rusty. I am glad that the quilt I made for you last year will come in handy for you this winter. It will also keep those cold shivers away coldguy while you are fighting that cold of yours. Annie B.

Seb - that is just about the funniest thing I've ever read. Hands down. I did visit a couple websites in the past that were interactive - one would blow soap bubbles onto the patio when you clicked (and sometimes the pets would chase them) and another had a waving hand add-on so you could interact with the lethargic cats on the couch.

bub

Yours is a better idea - we discourage morally reprehensible behavior (in the voice of Marvin, the terminally depressed robot) and commend and encourage (in the voice of Trillian, the perky space-pilot) positive, responsible behavior and good clean fun.

Did anyone else notice the cams are stuck or is it me? It could be me. The way I feel right now - I may be affecting the internet - causing bottlenecks and major lag time. Gak. I'm in the Matrix!

LOL, Seb.
So, you can't make out when it is dutch or German??? We, by the way, in USA got a lot of people asking if we came from Germany! I know that dutch or german sound similar to you. But... it is not!

Added with Rusty's idea of the robot voices, it would be funny!

Nice quilt Annie.Mary just made her first, a bay quilt.
Thanks Rusty. Bubbles, eh?

Ideally, you would have a choice of male and female voices. I would choose William Shatner and Sean Connery myself.

"Please ... get - off ... the ...sea -FLOOR!"

"Something looks delicious, and it's not a fish."

I decided it was about time I learned how to use the digital camera on my own, so I took this picture of the passionflower which has grown up my old fence.

flower

It grew from a seed which must have dropped last year when I dug an old plant up. The passion fruit will turn orange when it is ripe, but I don't think it is for human consumption, not quite sure.

anything

I hope it will cover the fence more next year.

Actually, Diana, I have a whole comedy bit about the Dutch/German thing, some dutch get REALLY UPSET when the two are compared, but some of the words and phrases are similar.
Then there is some of the stuff I hear Helena speak over at Buddy's like swiss/german. Sounds like a chocolate factory!
We get a good number of Dutch tourists here, I delight in helping them out.
I'm not sure I've seen a dutch sign on the reefcam.

Yeah, for some dutchies the subject of the germans is sensitive. (I can laugh about it, actually)
Sometimes when swiss people speak (slowly) we can hear some similar words as we use. That's also funny.
There were some dutch signs at the streetcam. But I did not see them at te reefcam, during my time around here.

Annie B, very nice passion flower. It looks like you can use your digital cam very well!

Hi Annie, beautiful picture of the passion flower.
It's a lovely day here, trouble is I've felt obliged to wash everything in sight, now there's the ironing to tackle (darn!!)
Hope everyone is well and that you're all having a good weekend.

Trains in Pakistan are a bit crowded sometimes, especially
when there is a soccer game in a nearby town.

Well, of course Max had to come along for the ride...Aiery got some pretty incriminating pictures of him at the bar, and some others at the dinner table...this rat is certainly a chip off the old block of his fadder...the hissing party rat...I think we will need to put him in rehab soon...
He really "sucked up" to Cheryl...

Karen and Rog, we had a drink for you, and really wished you had been able to make it down:-(

Hi, Rusty..hope your rest helped you to feel better. I agree...I find Fall/Autumn to be depressing in that I know what follows....Winter. Yuck. The leaves have already fallen off some of the trees here in Northern NJ .....way too early for that to happen around here. We have little red berries on our bushes outside, too....also way too early for this to happen! I fear a very long, cold and snowy winter is in store for us in our area. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

I just spent the good part of an hour scouring over Andie and Mike's bubble site! Hit every topic they had on their site. What a fun place to visit, too. Love their set up with the computers and the critters, etc. Dropped them an email, too. Thanks for passing the link.

I wonder how the big tree in the bag yard is doing now? Ayo. Carole

Well all was dry today, the UW case did fine. Lord only know what happen at Newfound lake, maybe it had a hair across the o-ring. When it flooded I put it on a rock and emptied the water out, maybe the hair was flushed then. When I opened it later on the workbench nothing on the o-ring. We may never know.

Great fun day, I tell the story later when I can think and play with the pictures. I've got to go cook some lobsters (part of the story).

Cecil. Glad to hear that the camera stayed dry today, so now we can look forward to your latest pictures, along with the lobster story. You and Rusty have really got me at it now. Today I learned how to use the digi cam on my own. Poor Trev, he's lost that now. LOL. Annie B.

Party rat pics are being held hostage by United Airlines!

Okay, so maybe all of our luggage is delayed, but it could be a conspiracy to constrain the rat!

Free Party Rat!

rat Hissing rats and sucking rats! Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore.

What a bunch of kooks. Certifiable. If you wait a minute I can have Jenni stamp the backs of your hands and get your strait jackets on ya.

Cecil, ya dodged a bullet this time - two times - the camera bounced back and the housing is secure. A huge sigh of relief was felt blowing down from the North yesterday. (Or was that Ol' Man Winter revving up?)

Annie, amazing passionflower! Looks like an Escher drawing - too complex to be real.

And, last but not least, I was glad to know the bubble site worked. I found that years ago and got a kick out of blowing bubbles waaaaaaay over there.

Cheryl, they lost your luggage? You were only going from San Diego to Dallas! Phhht! Free the party rat! I'm afraid that Aiery got more incriminating pictures of Max than I did:-)

Cecil, glad the camera stayed dry...maybe it was like the tire valve thingie in your bc bladder...weird fluke of fate...
