Hey, the long weekend (for statesiders) is here! Got my film back yesterday from the Achilles shoot. Now several days of editing. Since there has been some interest in Buttercup's modeling debut on the list, here's one of her shots.

John rolled out early this morning - ready for the long weekend! It's funny how I like to sleep late on work days and get up nice and early to enjoy a day off. LOL That Buttercup sure is agreeable to being hugged by a strange man. What a sweetie!

Good morning Rusty. While I won't quibble with your evaluation of Justin as a "strange man", Buttercup did know him from previous meetings.
I see Kelly's rat is into teleportation.

LOL John - I was thinking my dogs would have been terrible. They don't spend much time around other people - jumping, yipping and doing their best to test the durability of the inflatable. Glug. Glug.

You know, when you realize that the cam block is mostly covered in fire coral and there is usually a shorewards surge there, you understand why cam works commands a lot of attention when you remove and replace the lens.

Had to see if I remember how so I can get some pix up!

It's a shame the entire focus area isn't fire coral - then the dumbo divers wouldn't flip-flop thru there on their hands and knees.

Nice shots, Seb. It's a miracle that the pix get thru to us every day from the bottom of the sea!

Yeah, well fire coral doesn't hurt fins or neoprene, Rusty. You notice Jake wears a shorty a lot now, teaching himself to stay off the coral better!
Rusty, I seen all dem fish what are dere a lot. The super parrots are the bomb, Captian Midnight and the Rainbow brigade. You see them on the cams cruising by. Their tails and tops come out of the water when they feed on the ironshore/coral shallows. Makes for a great breakfast show.

I am so enamored of the parrotfish. Good name for them - they are so many colors and interesting patterns male/female.

Nice Pictures Seb. I saw a programme today about the reef fish and their behavior. What a noise those parrots made crunching on the coral. Annie B.

Thanks for that other link. I shall have to look at it tomorrow. Don't know why but IE keeps stopping, and then after a minute or two it works again. The word frustration comes to mind. Annie B.

Oh dear! John. I thought I posted here saying what a nice picture that was of buttercup in the boat. Don't know why it didn't post. Sorry. Good job her claws didn't puncture the boat. Annie B.

But the fabric is pretty tough, even on the lightweight boats. Cynde would have to fatten up Buttercup a lot to give her enough weight that her claws could puncture the boat. We did lose a boat (you can't really sink them, with their multiple air chambers) a few years ago, when it ran over a submerged piece of sharp scrap iron. Tore a two foot gash in the air keel and floor.

Seb, great picture of the rainbows! We tried several times to get pics, but since the waves had picked up with the hurricane, it was almost impossible to get a shot.

Brain, Jake better take care for the rat infestation around the cams...yikes!
