Rusty, you asked about the fuzz and the mask in the herring thread, seemed better to respond in a shorter one

Thought I recognized you, Seb. Any problem getting a tight fit on your mask with all that fuzz? LOL

Not when I use my UN-PETROLEUM Rusty, it can help cover up a lack of shaving on the cheeks too. The problem with using food grade silicone that I found is that sometimes you get a contamination of the lenses with the silicone which ends all hope of non fogging. After using the silicone for years and having intermittent fogging problems involving thorough repeated cleaning of every single disassembled mask part, I found out about the silicone/fogging issue. Since petroleum products break down the neoprene seals anyway, I opted for this stuff, which is also non addictive and actually seems to do good things to your lips as opposed to most other stuff that actually dry them out.

So now mostly mask is good. I found a Pana Geo fits my face best, which is good as I was being ever-so-careful with my old Tusa which worked but was 1990 vintage and they went out of bidness.

Margarite, there seem to be a number of eagle rays and coronetfish around right now. Minimum water temp was 80 degrees F, usually 81.
Oh to be cleaning the cam.....

goodmorning
Going to be another 100* day! Oh well, I'm inside with the AC and it is supposed to cool down into the 80's for this weekend. YAHOO! since yours truly is going to a motorcycle rally in Topeka, KS for 3 days. Got 30+ quarts of pickles, carrots & hotmix canned on Friday night. Worked out just great, ran out of brine at the same time I ran out of clean jars. Somebody was trying to tell me to go to bed.....
Have to pass this on RedNeck Pet Carrier.

Morning all! Margarite, can't believe you leave in 15 days!

Had a great day yesterday with BTalker John Lidington. Spent the afternoon shooting for the Achilles Inflatables 2004 catalogue. The sea was a little *rough* but noone got sick! It was a lot of fun and a cool experience...I have to go to my *real* job today...I'll post some pics later today from yesterday, and I forgot to get one of John and I together, but I will take one of those tomorrow when I meet them at the lake for the lake shots! Here is the achilles website if you want to see what we are doing!

http://www.achillesinflatables.com/ click on "achilles in action" for more past photos!

hillbilly During a friendly argument, Billy-Bob asked Betty-Sue why she had married him in the first place.

"I was just stupid."

When he said he was happy to hear that, Betty-Sue requested an explanation.

"People get divorced all the time because they fall out of love," he said. "But I've never heard of anybody falling out of stupid."

Ok, here are a few pics...

The tree in my front yard. Of course, I don't know the kind of tree, all I know is that it has pretty pink flowers in the spring and fall...and sheds a LOT of leaves!

Here is our fellow BTalker John Lidington on the back of our boat. We took him out yesterday morning so he could scout the area for the shots...

There are 2 bouys along that way, the green light bouy which always has sea lions on it...

And the red whistle bouy that of course has them too:-)

Hi guys

Yes, it is a Bank Holiday here in the UK. Banks close = day off. So a lie-in was had this morning.

We went dancing last night to the Sunday club
dance
and had an early celebration of my birthday. We all took food and ended up with a veritable feast.

Granddad has had Jessica and Tammy for 2 days, so I have had a rest. I go and collect them early tomorrow morning, and then back to more fun
