I finally finished editing and producing a DVD from the u/w digital video my wife shot when we were snorkeling in Bonaire 2 years ago. We're very happy with the results, but I'd really like to do better color correction. Unlike the software I use for all the stills (which is what I shoot), the color correction available with the video editing software is linear and it is impossible to add red without simultaneously drowning the picture in green or blue. The orange correction filter that came with the housing is clearly meant for diving depths and is way too strong. Does anybody know of an appropriate filter to use while snorkeling to put a little more red in? We'll get a chance to shoot again when we're back in Bonaire the last week of February with Joel Simon's Sea for Yourself group (we can hardly wait!).

I agree with Peter. You may also want to use the white balance function of your cam to help boost reds and remove cyan overtones in the shallows. Alternately, take a look at http://www.urprofilters.com - perhaps they have something that can help in semi-shallow water.
