Sorry it's not strictly a Bonaire question, but please can anyone give an opinion on the best area to head for for Red Sea snorkelling? Much as I would love to return to Bonaire, it's too costly a trip for this year, but from UK I can do Egypt for less than half the price. As there is so much Red Sea coastline available, I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks

Hi Nick, I totally understand what you mean, I love Bonaire and I would choose it over most other places in the world, but it's far and expensive and difficult to reach from the UK. In Egypt I would recommend Lahami Bay Resort and the Movenpick at El Qesir (both accessible from Marsa Alam airport). They are not the cheapest, but snorkelling is good and they are not as crowded as Sharm etc.. I hope this helps.
