Back again with my quest for the place to stay that combines a snorkeling site we can fall out of bed and walk to in the morning with facilities bigger than that of a hotel room. Another topic thread mentioned the Coral Paradise Resort as a nice place that has kitchens and comfortable patios. Anyone know about the prospects here for snorkeling? I understand that it is near Capt. Don's. This planning the perfect vacation is tough!

Susan, check out the Divi time share units. We too like to snorkel in the AM and their house reef is very good. The facilities have be recently renovated and they have nice patios.

Coral Paradise is next to Hamlet, and behind Beachfront hamlet and Capt Don's. You can fall out of bed and snorkel here, but will not have an ocean view from your room or pool. It is an extremely short walk to the water, but your view is blocked from the one row of beachfront units in front of you.

Susan,
another place to check out is blachi koko.
http://www.blachikokobonaire.com/
its next to carib inn and very close to divi.
snorkeling at either place and at the end of road
from blachi koko, a very short walk away. Also many people stay there and use Plaza pool and beach so I am told.
stayed here in March and love Laetitia and Matthieu the owners. great spot. ofcourse there are many but admit no nothing of coral paradise but have stayed many times north at the black durgon inn. Its all good :-). I'll be back at the Durgon for a short stay in August.

Susan, the Sand Dollar is right great for snorkeling and has condos with kitchens. We stayed there several times and were always pleased with the snorkeling as well as the accommodations.
