Hello!
We are arriving by cruise ship in December and have signed up for this shore excursion. It is 3 hrs long and called "Mushi Mushi sail, swim and snorkel". We are wondering if it is a good one and also if we could do better on our own for less money? (We are paying $64 U.S. each). This does seem like a reasonable price, for a shore excursion and we do like the convenience of it. We do not have our own equipment. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Julie

We did the trip in May and it is ok. They took us out to Klein and we did a drift snorkel, plus one other stop and we saw wild dolphins. I don't remember paying 64.00 US . It was more like 35

Julie, welcome to Bonaire Talk. Diane and Bea, you may have done it off season, thus the lower price.

You cannot do it on your own for less money, there are not that many trips like this. I've done the Mushi Mushi, Bob is a great captain, and it's a beautiful catamaran. You will NOT be disappointed.

this is the only pic i have, but ENJOY!!!
mushi mushi

when a cruise ship is in port such trips are almost impossible to do on your own ..generally all such excursions are reserved by the ship .. and remember .. bonaire is small and the resources limited ....

Thanks for the great advice and beautiful picture! I will look forward to our snorkel adventure. Since it is only 3 hrs. long, we will have time to look around the Island as well!
