Just wondering.....Are there places to purchase dive skins right on the island, close to the Divi Flamingo, and, if so, how do the prices compare to those in the states?

I don't remember seeing any diveskins on island when we shopped. Only 3, 5 wet suits. If you don't have one I'd make sure to purchase now, so you'll have one. We use our local dive shop. If you don't have one, try www.leisurepro.com. We've used them in the past for items like this.

Contact Bruce or his staff at Carib Inn - we were just there and I think they had skins as well as wet suits and rash guards.

yup yup yup, we popped into a store that wanted about $55 for a skin. Leisure pro or Pro Diver are good to get stuff at. Personally, I need the warmth instead of the skins so I need the full wetsuit. My shorty didn't cut it with the water temps last week and the cool currents. But Carib Inn came thru in the pinch with some velcro beanies for us and the full suits. Pricewise, they were actually cheaper than where we live, but why does Colorado have so many divers????
