We just returned from 2-weeks of snorkeling on Bonaire. This was one of our better years, Visibility was very good overall with the North the clearest. One day it was rough at Klein and we could not complete our snorkel with the Woodwind; no problem we went to Andrea I & II and Petries Pillar. Both sites were wonderful.

We saw many fish but turtles seemed more abundant this year. Also, large French Angels were spotted at each site. We saw many baracuda and a large guy was camped under the Divi dive dock for over a week. Eagle rays were seen at 2 sites a few eels as well.

There are three musts for all snorkelers. Early in your visit arrange for a day with Renee of ReneSnorkels. She is still the best at finding stuff and she has a couple of new sites to share. After a day with Renee you can revisit these sites on your own. A trip on the Woodwind is also a must. Dee is back, her beautiful daughter Nicole is in day care. Dee is also an excellent guide. There are other boat trips but they do NOT include a guide. Again, after a day with Dee you can take the water taxi to Klein Bonaire and do your own drift snorkel. Finally, take a night snorkel with Dee; it will a highlight of your trip. Even experienced divers enjoy Dee's night snorkel.

I agree, as an experienced diver, Dee's night snorkel is a joy! I highly recommend it :-)
