I had some friends that said the snorkling in front of the plaza was very good. How far is it if you snorkled from the Divi to the plaza? Is there anything in the water to stop you from doing that. Maybe we need to walk down and then snorkle. I like to get everything in order before I get there. That way when I do get there, I can jump in and head out to the fish. Thanks Kent

Kent, I think it is probably a quarter to half mile from the Divi to the Plaza...but someone will correct me if I'm wrong! I'm not very good with distances! You might just want to walk to the Plaza...

Thanks for the info. Even if its 1 mile, thats fine with me. I'm like a fish. I could swim all day. I'm sure i'll be swimming down there 2 or 3 time a day. Kent

Kent, Sure, you can do it, watch for boats and I have snorkeled at the Plaza. The best is when you enter the water by the bar area and go south, so you may add more milage! Have fun. Oh, and you don't have to go deep either!

You could certainly snorkel the whole way, it is about 1 mile, but is it really worth it? The snorkel from Divi to Carib Inn pier and back is wonderful and there is much to see. Between Carib Inn and Plaza there is not too much to see and the boat traffic is heavy, dive boats, water skiers, rental boats and PWC's to name a few. I suggest walking to Plaza for a snorkel off their property.
