Hello - We will be visiting for the first time in June and I have read much about the mangroves - both kayaking and snorkeling. I DEFINITELY want to see them and take a guided tour of some kind. However, both options sound great to me.

I've never kayaked and am wondering if any place on the island offers a combo kayak AND snorkel trip? You know kayak, but bring your gear along? Or is that just plain a silly idea?

Check out the Mangrove Info & Kayak Center on the road to Lac Cai. They do combined Kayak and Snorkel trips.

I think Buddy Dive also offers the option. Talk to Ruben or Martijn in the Activities Center.
