Is there a time of day when conditions are generally calmer at Karpata--morning versus afternoon?

We were at Karpta and other sites in that area in March '03 for snorkeling and it definitely was calmer in the morning than afternoon.

We found it productive to snorkel the north locations in the morning and then move south as the day progressed.

most people do karpata in the morning which is too bad because the light is probably much better in the afternoon...

may also have to do with not wanting to be lost up north after dark or something???

karpata is definitely FULL of stuff to see while snorkeling but is a place that will make you work for it
