I've been to Bonaire a few times and done a lot of standard snokel sites. After the storm, though, a lot of our old favs are too deep to visit now.
Anyone have suggestions on places that are still good to visit, or good guides?

November will be my first time to Bonaire. Who does the best guided snorkel boat trips? Also, where are the best snorkelling sites on Klein Bonaire, or do they take you to the same spots? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Levon

Great snorkel trips from the Sailing boat Woodwinds. Check with the Divi for information. My wife and I will also be in Bonaire from November 8th for a week....

I also think that Renee and the Woodwind give great guided snorkel trips, and a very pleasant morning with it. Jerry Ligon, at the Sand Dollar, is a great guide. His guided snorkel trips are excellent; but on my last stay (2000) he didn´t do any boat trips.
I didn´t find any guided trips to the South side of Klein Bonaire. If there are any, I will try that, next time.

Try Playa Benge in the park. You have to take the long route to get there. It was my favorite snorkel spot on the island during my visit last summer.

Try to the right of Windsock right across from the airport. There's a big cement mass and entry is to the left of that. Really nice shallows but some places too shallow...scoot around to the left and then back to the right again. Still some nice things to see. Looks like Klein Bonaire may have blocked the waves a bit a spared this little treasure.

There's a great guided snorkel through the Sand Dollar and a Mangrove Snorkel available from Buddy Dive that's most unusual.

Have Fun!

I love Saling with Renee on the Woodwind and when you sail with her regularly like I do, she tries her best to get to different snorkel sites each day on the second stop. Her first stop is always a drift snorkel at No Name beach over at Kline and that is where I just swam fifteen minutes with a 4 ft loggerhead turtle! She is also a very good snorkel guide and knows where all the good creatures live!
