We are packing items that will eventually go into our container when we retire to Bonaire. I have heard things like:
- Don't pack in the original boxes (e.g., old computers) or you'll be charged duty taxes.
- Label each box with detailed content lists.
- You need to have receipts to verify that items are at least one year old.

Are these myths for facts? Any other tips would be appreciated!

Any container supplier should give you all the details. You can use the original box, but turn the inside out. If the packed item is older than 1 year you can use its original box and put a copy of the receipt on it.
