I will need some help with mounting lights and some other simple electrical work (like swapping switches for dimmers), my issue is I simply wont have the time to do it.

Can anyone recommend a good electrician (preferably one that has email and speaks English)

Win Martha at cellular 795-3491 has been my electrician for over 15 years. He's a perfectionist, and therefore he's much in demand, so it's more difficult to get him out. But he's sooooo good, I always wait for him. And he speaks English well enough to be able to hold a conversation.

marquisal_electrics@yahoo.com for rewiring our house and some other repairs. Learned electricity in the Peruvian Navy. He does great work for a fair price, his English is fine and he shows up quickly. Never emailed him, but if you want him when you're here, I can call him in advance. Good contractors deserve to stay busy.
