Any news and names of reliable builders is appreciated by me. The latest developments on newly built houses (2008/2009).When you divide the total cost of the house by the square meters you will get an indication what the construction price is.
In 2004 the building price was 1400 ANG per square meter, or 790 USD per square meter, unfortunately I don't have the name of the company. Has the price changed much? Was the planned building time attainable,or overdue with 3 or 4 months. We just want to keep the risk as low as possible. Happy to hear from you.

Lately I've heard prices in the fls 2.000-2.500 per square meter range. Costs have gone up considerably over the past 5 years. However, there's no current estimate of the cost of your sanity (and the loss thereof) regarding construction.

To my knowledge, latest cheapest offer from contractors on Bonaire is Naf 1750 per m2, not sure what that includes, that varies with the contractors.

Thank you all so much for the update on builders. It tells us that the worldwide financial drawback doesn't affect the building climate on Bonaire. If more BT want to add information please do so.
