Been looking at Skype mobile phones. It's an internet based interface for calls, texting, etc. They have a phone called "3 Skypephone".

Bonaire isn't listed as a location where it will work, but then again when I visited in Nov '07 Sprint said my phone wouldn't work. It rang while I was checking in to Buddy Dive....go figure.

Just researching options for keeping track of work (not that I really want to...)

Dan, I have the netgear skypephone and am very pleased with the results down here... Especially with the new high speed telbo service. There is no lag at all and the person on the other end would never know the call is over the internet. Just make sure the wireless network is a fast one.
