I am in the process of buying property on the island and would eventually like to live there year around.In the mean time visits of up to 3 months seem more realistic.I would be interested to know if anyone currently is in this type of situation(staying 2-3 months at a time).In particular how does a semi-local best approach diving and transportation for extended stays.

Hi Everett, I'm interested in the same thing, and would like to start at least with buying a place and renting it out for most of the time other than my weeks there.
Let me know if you hear anything. Are you planning on going with a particular realtor??
