My husband and I have been to Bonaire three times and we would like to buy a Condo. We visited Harbour Village and it is a beautiful place to live. I would like to know if anybody who may read this message is a condo owner at Harbour Village, and if our choice is the right one.

Well since no one has responded here I'll give you my input. We also stayed at HV & yes the surroundings are beautiful. So naturally my first thought was this could be a great place to buy. However the inside of some of the condos I looked at were small & I didn't like the view which overlooked the boat marina.
The prices of the units seemed high to me for the value. Therefore I didn't personally explore this option for us any furthur.

There have been some legal wranglings in the past and you may want to dig a bit further before making a committment...

Thanks for your response Vince!

We are not bother by the view, actually it seems really peaceful and well, yes a little pricy but it seems to be a good choice. Is there any Real Estate company - good one?

Pat,
OK, guilders it is! Let's see.... I've gathered up all the remainders from our trips and it looks like we return home with about 25 guilders each year; we'll start saving them in the "BUY PAT'N'MARY's HOUSE" fund.
1,000,000/25=40,000 years
We'd better start saving a little more per year! Maybe we can get that down to 5 or 10 thousand years! I'll let you know when we start getting close.
