I am looking for somebody who has italian origins and live in Bonaire. I have been there 2 times and I am planning to buy a house and move...

Of course I will!!
Actually I am used to prepare my tomato souce with the Tomatoes that I buy in the big supermarket in Kralendjk! The secret is just to be used to do that, and wherever you are you can cook a good tomato's souce!!

My child's dearest friend is Italian..her other friend too....there are a few Italians here...that we know well..Elizabeth at Croccantinos is Italian..Lola and Antonella and all at Capriccios...

Welcome! Vince, if you go to More For Less, the butcher will make any sausage you like! Ed wanted italian sausage and butcher said "if you bring me the recipe, I will make it for you!

They are great! Now only if I could find a good piece of nice aged Parmesan Reggiano....I really miss it!

Thanks for the tip Liz... I will certainly keep that in mind.
I know what you mean about the Parmesano Reggiano..
When I was in Italy I had some every morning at breakfast.. Here we'll just use with pasta & on salads in the evening when I can get the authentic thing.

Liz, check out Peter at TIS (The Island Supplier). I saw nice chunks of parmesano reggiano in the cooler !!!! YUMMY !!! Also, so if I go to the butcher at More for Less - does he have the recipe for the italian sausage so that I can order it????

Hey this thread is starting to make me hungry!!
Parmesano reggiano; italian sausage & Cinzia who makes her own sauce (or is it gravy?) from fresh tomatoes!! Ymmmm Italians & food are impossible to seperate!..Now all we need is that fountain for the front of the yard!

Cuban/Cajun Americans are also IMPOSSIBLE to separate from their food !!!!!!!!!! ;-) I just made about 15 dozen gingersnap cookies - can ya'll smell them????
