I'm an RN in the USA, and was just wondering what sort of work there would be for a nurse in Bonaire. Just in case I fall in love with the island. Hee Hee!

I have no idea about the employment issues (immigration/work visas, health care worker licensing, language issues, etc.) but this much I do know:
a) There is a smaller hospital on the island (San Francisco, sort of behind Cultimara);
b) There are several doctors on the island who have an office/clinic;
c) There are now two med schools.

Don't know if it still holds true, but if I recall, you need to be able to speak, read and write in Dutch in the hospital. I'm sure there is some way that you may be able to put your license to use!
