We are soooooooo excited, we finally did it. My wife, Debbie, and I just closed on Ed & Liz’s townhome at Lighthouse Beach Resort. Ed, Liz and Bob at Remax have all been so helpful thru this process. As some of you know, Ed and Liz have done a nice job in upgrading this place and we are so happy to now own it. Hopefully, we can do as well with the place as they did. Unfortunately, we can't move to Bonaire full time right know but this is a step forward. We are not new to Bonaire and have visited several times over the past 6 years and now that we actually own a place we will definitely be down to Bonaire more often. Hopefully, we can get to know many of you as we would love to meet and become friends with others living on and visiting Bonaire.

Congrats Gregg & Debbie!

I will be interested in hearing how things go after this purchase. We also want to buy there but will not be able to move for a few years. We will be in Bonaire on July 2nd and are hopeful that we will find our own little piece of paradise before we leave. I wish you both the best.

Teresa :-)

Gregg, happy to hear the sale went well. I have friends that have rented that condo for a few years now and John and I have been in it quite a few times and agree that Liz did a good job upgrading it. Lots of nice little touches. Hope you get to enjoy it and my friends from California hope you will continue to rent it.

Teresa,
Thanks. So far everything has gone very smoothly and I thank the former owners, Ed & Liz as well as Bob at ReMax for all their help. If you are serious about the possibility of buying on Bonaire, you really should visit with Bob while you are down in July. You can also send me a private email at info@bonairevilla.com and I will give you some things that we used in our thought process. Have a great trip.

Corney,
Yup, Liz did great. Tell your friends that yes unfortunately we won't be on Bonaire full time so things will continue pretty much the same as when Ed & Liz owned it. Tell your friends to send me an email.
Gregg

Gregg and Corney,

Thanks SOOOO much for the compliments! We are on our way down tomorrow to redo our new place. Gregg, best of luck with "our baby". LBR #13 was the first property we owned on the island. Oh yeah, Ed realized he left a brand new hose at LBR that was meant for the new place. He put it there on our last trip and forgot to take it. It is in the little cubby area outside where the airco unit is. Is it ok if we pick it up? Thanks.

Liz
