Hello from Trent: Just wanted to share some shots from my recent quick trip to Bonaire. It was a busy one week trip so I didn't get as many dives in as normal. I am shooting with a 4 or 5 year old Olympus C-7070 with a Ikelite housing and a Ikelite DS-125 strobe directly linked by a cord. I also shoot completely in manual mode with the shutter speed normally at 100 and then adjusting the aperture one or two stops on the low side. The flash set on TTL will compensate and bring out the color. When taking pictures of the turtles, I discovered that it helps to increase the shutter speed in the 160 range to avoid blur. One of the things I worked on this trip was to shoot upward with the water in the background. Obviously it is critical to have very good buoyancy in order to do this in most situations.

I appreciate the feedback Marcio and Carl. Photo #53 was taken at night. Love night diving! I could spend the whole time in about a 15 x 30 area on the reef, just looking for tiny creatures.
