Great stuff, again!

Sorry if you've already posted this, but I went back and couldn't find it. Could you give a run-down of the equipment you use? I'm interested in getting into it eventually and it would be good to know what equipment produces these photos, even if I don't yet have the time and talent to replicate your success.

It's more like lots of patience, lots of trial & error and a little luck also helps! I typically shoot 6-10 photos of the same subject at different angles to get the one I like (if it stays still long enough)! I'm still trying to get a really good photo of a fairly basslet - those little suckers just won't hold still!

My system is a Nikon D70s in a Subal Housing with a single Sea&Sea YS110 strobe. Most (95%+) of my photos are taken with the 60mm macro lens. I shoot all manual (more fun experimenting with different settings).

I tried out a couple new lenses in May and got a lot of bad shots. A good excuse to go back in November to practice some more!

Dix.

Thanks, Dixie. I know I wouldn't be able to replicate your great pictures without a lot of practice (if then!). Of course, as you said you often don't replicate your great pictures, either. :D
