For those Canon G-10 owners out there, I got an email the other day about a repair recall for the G-10. Apparently there is an issue with lines appearing in pictures that cannot be fixed using Photoshop, etc. Unfortunately you have to send the camera in for repair. Also in the same email there was a comment about a problem when shooting RAW that the image will appear "magenta" in color. At least this problem can be fixed with a download.

I can't do anything about the repair for the lines because I leave this Saturday for Bonaire (yahoo), so just have to hope that the "perfect" shot doesn't have this problem. I shot a few pictures in RAW yesterday and checked, none turned out "magenta" in color, so hopefully this won't be a problem either. Chose not to do the fix - based on the saying "if it's not broke, don't fix it".
