My Sony f 707 died on me today and need to replace it. I liked the fact that the camera had a 10x zoom, which was great for underwater-I did't need to get real close to a subject. The Ikelite housing was great. Any suggestions?

Hi Ralph, there are some cameras with mega zooms, I think I saw a 15x on one. The new Olympus 1010 is 10 megapixels, and 7x zoom and it fits in your pocket (try that with the 707). It also has a UW housing from Olympus for $200. It's $299 at Circuit City or $250 on-line.

On a side note I am very proud that I have never used my zoom underwater which would defeat the whole purpose of getting close then closer.
