Just returning from a week in Bonaire (trip report to follow)and noticed this year more than ever lots of people with their laptops out in the evenings working with photos. I am wondering what people here feel is the best software to purchase. I noticed people using "Elements" and "Lightroom". Are there others? Thoughts?

Photoshop Elements the only real choice and far and away the most popular. Here's a link to a tutorial on how to edit with Elements.

Photoshop Elements is probably the best buy for the $$$. I've used it for three years and would recommend it. A tutorial like the one from Cecil is a great help.
