I just got my underwater housing for my Nikon D200 and I have a 60mm lends can any one spare a settings for the D200 to shoot macro? I am novice on this field.
Please.

I have a D80 I would start at F13 and 1/125S

agree...the camera may want to go 1/60S if you connect a strobe and shoot in either "P" or "A" exposure modes...to limit possible motion blur at 1/60 a setting of 1/125 or 1/250 may be more suitable...

aperature (especially if you use a strobe) should be as large a number as possible (i tend to use f22 to start) - this yields better depth of field...

and finally, if you have a strobe you might want to consider manual flash level control. Nikon TTL works pretty well but tends to underexpose, especially at large number aperature settings...maybe start with the strobe at half power...

of course you can just set the camera in "A" exposure mode and dial in a high aperature setting (f22) and just shoot away (beginner mode:-)) you'll get some pics for sure:-)

another suggestion:

a quick focus capability is essential for good pics and for staying off the reef...use single area AF (center area) and consider having a small light to assist with AF if necessary...
