Hello,
I just bought a SP-350 with the OLY housing. I have been looking for a strobe. I don't alot of money left to spend. I was looking at the Sealife digital strobe. It claims to be good and work with the sp-350. Anyone else use the sealife strobe and is it worth the price? Or should I wait and save up for a different one?

I would opt for as as good a strobe as you can afford. The strobe will add more than anything(except possibly experience)to the quality of underwater pictures. A quality strobe can go with your next underwater set up, and trust me that there will be one, while an undersized one will end up in a closet. YMMV

Ron, I wonder if I should use a diffuser with my Ikelitle 50 strobe on my Oly350. What setting do you use. I love your pictures.

I use a diffuser on most all my shots with both the DS50 and DS125. I still use the Ike manual controller for both strobes. I have not had good luck with Ike sync cable for TTL. Ike seems to admit to this being a "weak link" in the strobe system. Since I already had the controller, it was a no cost option for me. The DS50 is a great strobe, especially close in. Email me and I will give you a list of settings I use for most shots. I always shoot in full manual mode.

Thomas, I have the sealife strobe - and use it with SP-350 - LOVE the camera HATE the strobe. Saving for the Sea/Sea YS 110 and retro fit bulk/hot shoe - approx 1000.00 but will be worth every penny. You may be better off saving for the better strobe than selling later on ebay...
