Very nice. I like the Hooker shot, it has an other worldly quality. I think the picassa site makes posting pictures easier too. I remember trying to shrink them all in the past so they could be uploaded. We were on the island 6/10-6/17. This was our second June visit verses August. Of course now we are back and wondering when the next trip is going to be.

Picasa is nice. Easy to learn. I used to use Gallery Remote and it would also automatically shrink pics. A nice feature it has that Picasa doesn't have yet was the ability of the viewer to leave comments directly on the site.

Picasa also chews up chunks of resources on your PC especially if you try and remove items from it's database.

Private EMail will do - to protect the identity of the seahorse! We don't own UW cameras - just our eyes and memories!

Hi Ron, nice gallery, like the "squid in a row" shot! What equipment are you shooting with?

You asked for constructive criticism, so here's my 2 cents. you have a bunch of good shots spread throughout the gallery; which are your favorites? Make that your top gallery for everyone to see first.

Your best shots are the ones where you shoot up or have an interesting background (the "negative space.") Sometimes the subject can be really cool, but if the background is boring, people don't appreciate it. The squid with the blue water background is very cool vs. the one shooting down with sand behind.

Looks like you covered a lot of great sites, some I've never seen. Can't wait to get back.

You're in Tallahassee? We used to live there, on Sharer Road.

Thanks Bruce. Yes, been in Tallahassee since 72.

I'm using an Olympus C4040 with the Ikelite housing. Just the camera's internal strobe. I really like photographing the Christmas Tree Worms. From these shots I guess I like the Flamingo Tongue from Carl's Hill, the purple tube sponge and the sky picture from Bachelor Beach, the sea horse from Kelly's Reef, and the turtle shots from Sampler. We had 12 boat dives in our package, which is twice what I normally have on a Bonaire trip and they took us to great reef after great reef. I also got tips from the nearly two dozen other divers in our group from their shore diving trips early in the week. That's how I ended up at Oil Slick Leap, Witches Hut, and Bachelor Beach. Vista Blue was a divemaster recommendation although the current was so strong there that we didn't make much headway before heading to the shallows.
