After looking at the different web sites, I finally found one that even I could figure out, thanks to honeymoon2 at smug mug. I decided to put my pictures there for viewing. Thankyou honeymoon2. www.margeka.smugmug.com is where I'm currently working to put our vacation photos.

A feature that I like about SmugMug postings is that for each picture it provides Photo Information.

Basic includes:
...Camera Type
...Exposure
...Aperture
...Focal Length
Detailed Includes:
...Flash [fired or not; auto, forced, slave, etc.]
...Exposure Bias [+/- ]
...Exposure Mode [Aperture Priority, Manual, etc.]

IMHO You can learn a lot about what works and what doesn't in different situations by studying these....

Bill

You are so right. I need to study, especially since I bought a replacement camera. OlySP350. Have been practicing. Now I need to get my Ikelite housing and practice in our canal this summer.

canal? channel catfish?

not sure where you are located but ohio has quarries with airplanes, motor cycles, and doctor pepper machines

Gilboa...

but then again, the canal is probably a whole lot warmer...

good luck:-)

Yes, and zebra mussels. We live on a deep (16ft) canal just off the St Clair River that connects Lake St. Clair and Lake Huron on the east coast of Michigan. Lots of current in the river and its 80 ft deep, not much see there and it's a hazard because of the boat traffic. So, we'll just practice in the safety of our back yard and take pictures of perch, pike and blue gills.
