Looking to purchase a camera for underwater use (20D on land) and saw this online. Has an optional "closeup" lens attachment and underwater housing available. The IS seems like an important factor. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Christine, if you do a keyword search you'll probably find something. There is a wealth of info here on all things camera.
Helped me a lot when I was researching what to buy for my hubby. I ended up getting him the 710 and so far he's thrilled with it but we haven't dove with it YET.
The land pics have been wonderful.
I didn't get the optional lens.
